Academic Vocabulary List-01
Vocabulary has an unlimited source in English language learning. It is essential to learn and
practice vocabulary or words in order to express yourself both in written and spoken
language successfully. So , there is a list of most essential words in English language based
on function and usages. Learners of English language must know these words and their
authentic meaning in order to fulfil academic purposes.
Most importantly, only memorizing the meaning of the word is not effective learning in
case of vocabulary learning if you do not use it in real context. You have to make sentences
yourself by these words. In this way, you will be able to understand and experience the
practical function and usages of these words in sentences.in this case, you always have to
maintain the function of parts of speeches in a sentence.
Basically, follow this master structure in all sentences-
Master structure:
Noun/pronoun+ verbs+ adverb+ adjective+ noun/pronoun
Example:

For the successful and authentic usages of the words, we must know the meaning and the
part of speech class of those words.
So, here goes a list of words with meaning and part of speech class:

Now apply these words in real context by making sentences with all words:
For an example, if we want to make a sentence with the word ‘dull’, we must firstly
observe the part of speech class of the word and we know that ‘dull’ is an adjective word so
according to the structure, it becomes-
Noun/pronoun+ verb+ adverb+ ‘dull’+ noun/pronoun
The boy
Noun
is
verb
a very
adverb
dull
adjective
student
Noun
Now, like this example, make many sentences yourself. Please remember that, it is fruitless
to memorize the words and their meaning without applying them in practical.
