Average attendance of all the Parents for the PTM: 93.6% Percentage of Students absent for the Formative Assessment – III: 3.18% FA - III QUALITY QUADRANT SUGGESTIONS Class I to VIII: Teaching foreign language once a week. Is it possible to give ranks for all the students? Is it possible to take the children on a field trip? Classes on Current Affairs. QUESTIONS When can we meet the counsellor? When are the Summative Assessments going to be held? CONCERNS Students are not reading the textbooks and not learning the spellings. To emphasize on conversation skills. More improvement in handwriting. KUDOS Activity Days are very interesting Butterfly Field experiments were explained well by the students. SUGGESTIONS: The Board suggests the students to learn three languages which are already taught at school. The third language should be introduced only in class V. As per the Board this year (2016-2017) the School gives the grades depending on the number of marks secured by the child in a test. The same will be followed from LKG to Class V from the next academic session but for class VI to X the marks and the grades will be reflecting in the report card along with the rank secured by a child. The students are taken for the Field Trip only for once in an academic session as it involves a lot of planning especially with regards to the weather and the safety of the children. The students have GK classes to discuss the current affairs. The same are also shared in the morning assemble every day. CONCERNS: Students are engaged in reading the text at school in all the subjects. The same should be encouraged at home as this will also enhance the comprehending skills of the child. Extensive reading is the best way to enhance the vocabulary. The school conducts the Activity Day with the intention of improving the conversation skills of the child. The children also learn to overcome stage fear and fear of speaking in a group. This year a special handwriting class is held in every class with an intention of improving the handwriting of the children. QUESTIONS: The School Counsellor is currently not in the country. You may meet the Secretary-Correspondent, Ms G Arundathi, to discuss the matter after 4 pm on a working day. POINTS TO NOTE 1.
