WE-EF Launches New LED Versions of Post Top Luminaires
Warrendale, PA – June 10, 2013 - WE-EF LIGHTING USA, a leading international manufacturer of Performance
Exterior Lighting, has launched new LED versions of the ZA600 post top luminaires.
WE-EF has proven its solution-competence expertise with numerous LED projects around the world and, as a
result, has developed a diverse portfolio of LED luminaires. For example, WE-EF designed and developed a wide
range of LED luminaires – for both street and area lighting – featuring a modular structure system as well as
innovative optical components for a variety of lighting tasks.
WE-EF has now applied that same LED solution-driven expertise to its range of post top luminaires.
The WE-EF ZA600 series of post top luminaires has long been favored by lighting designers and architects for
both classical and contemporary lighting projects worldwide. The past success of this series was the main
catalyst to develop the new LED versions for both the ZA630 and larger ZA640 series. Features of the new
versions include: a specially designed LED diffuser made of PMMA; symmetric beam distribution; and excellent
anti-glare properties. With a maximum connected rating of 36 W and standard color temperatures of 3000 K
and 4000 K, ZA600 luminaires can achieve luminous flux levels of up to 3000 lm.
WE-EF post top luminaires are produced using the 5CE superior corrosion protection process. Developed by
WE-EF, 5CE provides outstanding and long-lasting, anti-corrosion properties that can only be achieved by a
comprehensive, integrated approach. Key features of the 5CE technology include; luminaire housings made of
homogeneous recycled, marine-grade and low copper-content aluminum alloy; a multi-step, pre-treatment and
conversion coating process; a UV-stabilized architectural grade polyester powdercoat finish with excellent
outdoor durability; and PCS hardware (Polymer Coated Stainless Steel). The ZA600 LED series has an IP55
rating.
