Legislative Branch Project Choices Poster: Create a poster about the legislative branch. Your poster must have at least two paragraphs, interesting facts, and at least 5-7 pictures. It must be colorful and catchy, and you should use up almost all the poster space. You must have some interactive element on your poster, such as questions and answers. You may write on your poster by hand or type out the text and glue it on. 3D Model: Your model must accurately represent the capitol building. This means you must go online to research what it looks like and accurately show this in your model. You must also include a two paragraph write-up about your model, the branch, and the capitol. Power Point/Wiki: Create a power point about the branch. You must have a title slide and then 20 separate slides about the branch. Each slide must have text and at least 1 picture. You will be graded on conventions as well! Game: Create a board game about the branch. You can be creative and design your game however you choose. The object is to design the game around questions and answers teaching facts and information about the branch. Skit/Movie: Write and perform a skit presenting information about this branch. You can do this however you choose. This can be done in a group, with a partner, or alone. You may perform this in front of the class or video tape the skit to be played in class. You must turn in your script. Must be at least 3 minutes. Speech: Pretend you are a member of this branch. Introduce yourself as that person and provide information about your job and that branch. You will be graded on note cards used to make the speech. The speech must be at least 3 minutes. Biography: Choose a member of the branch to research and write a biography about that person and their job.(Our senators, representatives….) You can type it as a research paper or present it as a speech. It must be at least 1 page. Movie Maker: 3 minute presentation with pictures and captions and/or voice narration. Website: Create a website using www.wix.com, www.yola.com or www.simplesite.come to present the information including picture and links.
