Help us to make it through our difficulties, and the trials and temptations of everyday life. Help keep us from evil and help us avoid the pain and hurt sin causes. Remind us to be prayerful and to reflect upon the great sacrifice Jesus made for each one of us. Amen Aging Gracefully A Lenten Series Presented by St. John Paul II Parish April 5: Aging Gracefully – Part 2: Presented by St. John Paul II Chaplain, Jim Laemmle All are invited to St. John Paul II’s Lenten Series every Wednesday during Lent. Each session takes place at our Hikes Lane Campus and starts at 11:00 am with Stations of the Cross in church, followed by a lite lunch at 11:30 in the cafeteria. The presentation will start at 12:00. Each week is stand alone. You are invited to any/all sessions. Please RSVP to Chaplain Jim Laemmle, 502459-4251, ext. 24 or [email protected]. Final Presentation. Dare to Care Volunteers Needed We are running short of volunteers for the Dare to Care program. What is most needed are people with a strong back that are able to help Billy set up and tear down tables and lift heavy bags. You would need to be at the gym on the second Tuesday of the month (4/11) at 8:30 am. The truck generally comes around 9:00 am. The food is unloaded and distributed and we usually finish around 10:30. We distribute in all weather so dress appropriately. We only cancel in extreme weather conditions.
