Our counselors are hand-picked, trained, and responsible. Each
counselor spends 20+ hours in training before working at day
camp. These professional role models consistently illustrate the
YMCA core values of responsibility, respect, caring, and honesty.
They know cool games like Um-Ah and great camp songs like
Boom-Chicka-Boom. Additionally, most YMCA day camp staff
are trained in CPR and First Aid.
