The Gendarmerie Integrated Communications and Information System (JEMUS) aims to convey the necessary
information to all the Gendarmerie units as unceasingly, synchronously, accurately, and safely as possible.
Thanks to the wired system which is in use all through Turkey, it is possible to communicate effectively, send
and receive e-mails, share folders, have access to the Intranet, transmit data safely and rapidly, investigate
crimes and question defendants, and control and check the systems directly at the Headquarters.
When the JEMUS wireless system is installed, the mobile patrol groups shall be able to conduct the
investigation of persons, weapons, vehicles, and driving licences, convey the necessary data to one another,
and also respond to the information communicated to the 156 Gendarmerie Call Line with the help of digital
and reliable communication system.
