Equivalent, mixed and improper fractions - follow on cards
Teaching notes
Cut along the thick dashed lines to create 28 dominoes with an answer on the left and
an unrelated question on the right.
The cards are in random order, so you could give the sheets to students to cut out.
You can use these dominoes in a whole-class or small group activity:
a. Give a set of cards to a small group, for them to match the questions with
the answers to create a chain of cards across their desk.
or
b. Give one card to each student in the class and choose one student to read
out the question given on their card. The student who thinks they have the
correct answer on their card stands up, reads the answer, then gives the
next question in the chain. Repeat until all cards have been read.
