Online applications are also available and may be submitted at https://app.jumpro.pe/CharterApplication.html. Applications received after the April 1, 2016 deadline will not be placed into the lottery but will receive a place on the waitlist. The school has a lottery preference for students who are English Language Learners (ELL), Limited English Proficient (LEP) and those who reside in homes where languages other than English are spoken. There is also a preference for siblings of current students. An application must be submitted for each sibling before the lottery deadline. It is not required that you provide information for these preferences, however if relevant information is not indicated on the application, the student will be placed into the general lottery and will not qualify for preferences. If information on the application is incorrect, the application will be considered invalid, and any offer made for a place in the school based on this information will be taken back. If the student’s or parent/guardian’s address or phone numbers change, please notify the school, so that we may contact you in the event that the student is offered a place at the school. Non-Discrimination Statement: A charter school shall not discriminate against or limit the admission of any student on any unlawful basis, including on the basis of ethnicity, national origin, gender, disability, intellectual ability, measures of achievement or aptitude, athletic ability, race, creed, national origin, religion or ancestry. A school may not require any action by a student or family (such as an admissions test, interview, essay, attendance at an information session, etc.) in order for an applicant to either receive or submit an application for admission to that school. Admission is preferential for English Language Learners/Limited English Proficient students, and for those who live in homes where languages other than English are spoken. The academic program provides strong supports for English Language Arts. If an applicant chooses not to provide this optional information, the applicant cannot be disqualified for admission to the school (although the applicant will not receive the admissions preferences).
