Purpose of CLIL Art History courses:



to transmit the use and comprehension of the English language through the teaching of artistic content
to support and reinforce concepts of art history taught by content teachers using a different
communicative medium (English language)
to familiarize students with a modest content of specific vocabulary (artistic, historic and related) in
English

Topic: Baroque Art
Duration: 4 weekly one-hour sessions consisting of 4 classes, plus the preparation of 1 examination to be given
in class by content teachers
Didactic material: 4 Power Point Presentations including print-outs (study sheets and glossaries), sent by email
