INTRODUCTION
The project aims to:
– Attract attention to the problems of the refugees who have to live with us,
– Define the way Turkish and European Youth perceive the refugees and positive and negative
aspects of their perception,
– Make especially young people view the refugees from a more objective point of view by making
them learn the facts about refugees,
– Find out what the youth can do to help the refugees adopt to society,
– Promote the project venue and our country,
– Start a campaign for the sake of refugees in light of the outcome of the project.
By promoting the things we do on social network we will try to find out how we can be more sensible
about this issue and will attract more people’s attention to it.
There will be a total of 32 participants from 6 different countries (Turkey-Greece-Bulgaria-CroatiaSpain-Italy) in the project.
The project will be put into practice between 29th April – 7th May 2017 in Ankara. The project will be
carried out by aktiF-İz Youth Community.

PARTICIPATING COUNTRIES:Turkey-Greece–Bulgaria–Croatia–Spain- Italy
PARTICIPANTS: 30 Youth workers, Responsible of NGOs, Youth Associations, Youth leaders, Youth
animators and Young people - representative of non-formal groups who are interested in
approaching the International youth activity.

COSTS:
– the travels (both for APV and Youth Exchange) will be reimbursed up to as following table
according to countries:

– accommodation, three meals a day and the project activities will be covered by the host
organization (Other personal expenses are belong to participaints.)

TRAVEL COSTS INFORMATION
Your travel expenses will be reimbursed up to defined limit by countries. You need to use the
most economic ways of travel, we can’t cover the cost of taxies or business class flights.
Your travel expenses will ONLY be reimbursed upon the presentation of documentary evidence
of the sum actually paid and you need to present:
1. Invoice
2. Copy of travel tickets
3. Bank/Credit overview with your ticket’s payment
4. Copy of your passport
5. Boarding passes by plane
6. Two ways train/bus tickets etc.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING WITH YOU FOR APV?
⇒ Filled application forms if you already have participants.
⇒Original Partnership Form, If you have not sent before
⇒ Any medicine you think you will need during your stay in Turkey;
⇒ If you have any allergy or food intolerance problems, please inform us as soon as possible so
that we are prepared to help you during the activity;
⇒ You need to bring towel and hygienic staff (shampoos, tooth paste etc.)
RULES
- You have to attend at least 95% of the program to get reimbursement
- We strongly ask you to respect the schedule in order to carry out successfully the organized
activities. You are also asked to respect everybody’s personal belongings, as well the material
used during the project.
- Reimbursement will be done as soon as the participants deliver the boarding passes (and any
other tickets that can be concluded in the maximum Price mentioned above, for every country)
- Reimbursement will be done in EUR, regardless of the currency indicated on the ticket and
receipt/invoice. Any tickets purchased in a local currency other than EUR will then be converted
and calculated according to the exchange rate of the day according to FINANCIAL TIMES RATE

- Note: Please check travel budget limits above. If travel costs exceed the amount budgeted in
the project, the organizers will only be able to reimburse participants maximum travel costs
indicated in the travel budget. Participants are therefore strongly advised to book trip travel well
in advance.
MORE DETAILS
- We will provide PICK UP INFO as soon as we collect all arrivals times from participants.
- The course will attend to a scheduled Associations party that it will be held in the city of
Ankara. We suggest people to bring with you any flyers, and advertisement materials in order to
promote your work and exchange ideas with other associations.
