The mission of Little Diamonds
Preschool is to provide care in a creative learning environment which will assist preschool aged children in the development of the total child. Special
attention will be placed on physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development. A progressive continual curriculum will be followed in a safe, secure,
and stimulating environment filled with
opportunities to explore and experience
as a means of growth and development.
Philosophy
A child’s education should include all areas
of development; physical, mental, and social.
Play is the natural way a child learns. Therefore it is through play that children learn to
concentrate, exercise their imagination, understand their bodies, try out ideas, and to
develop a sense of control over their world.
In order for a child to have a balanced education play should be both directed and self
directed.
About the Director
Allow me to introduce myself and tell you a little bit about
me. My name is Robin Sullivan. I have been in the childcare business for the past 23 years! I have three children
of my own and countless others that I get to love. Zac is
my oldest at twenty and is a Sophomore in college. My
twelve year old, Caleb is in the sixth grade. My daughter,
Madison is eleven years old and in fifth grade.
Children are my love and passion. I have worked as a
nanny, owned my own home based child care and worked in
preschools as a Director, Music Director and Teacher. I
enjoy volunteering in children’s ministries as well.
I recognize the fantastic responsibility and influence I
have with my students and I am so very excited to enrich
your child’s life through academics, fitness and play.
My belief is that every child is a gift and will always be
treated as such under my care and supervision.
I am looking forward to another exciting year of
preschool! Working together, it is my goal that your child
thrives, grows and feels a sense of home while at Little
Diamonds Preschool.
