Next, power on your Phraselator® device; once fully booted up, your screen will display your desktop. Upon power up, if the application automatically loads, or if you are already running the application, then simply exit the Phraselator® application to get to your desktop. If your Phraselator® version’s desktop screen looks like A above: • In the lower left corner, select the “Windows” icon • Select the “Programs ‐ Version” menu option • OS Version information will be displayed • Version 2.6 application and language module data will ONLY operate on devices with an OS “Platform Version” between 2.0.2 and 2.3.2 If your Phraselator® version’s desktop screen looks like B above: • Press the “File Explorer” icon • In the File Explorer, double‐click on the “Windows” folder • In the “\Windows” folder, scroll down until you find the “Version.exe” file • Double‐click the “Version.exe” file • OS Version information will be displayed • Version 3.0 application and language module data will ONLY operate on devices with an OS “Platform Version” of 2.5.6 or later 2 The following pages provide visual guidelines for the instructions above.
