- Sentence begins with a capital letter = 1 point
- Correct punctuation = 1 point
- Use finger spaces = 1 point
- All words are written and in correct order = 1 point
- Sight words spelled correctly = 1 point
- Spelling words spelled correctly (bold/highlighted) = 2 points (1 point/word)
