HI. OUR NAMES ARE DANIELLE AND GARY.
Thank you for taking the time to read our
letter and consider us as potential parents for
your baby. We are hoping that this profile will
give you a good view of our lives. We are very
grateful for you choosing adoption. We both
understand that the choice is a difficult one
to make and we admire your courage and
strength to make this choice.

Becoming Parents
We have struggled with infertility, and after
undergoing unsuccessful infertility treatments for
two years, we both feel that adoption is the
answer to our prayers to start a family. We are
ready to grow our family and share our love and
happiness with a child while providing him or her
with a safe, secure, loving and stable environment
so he or she may thrive.
Your child will also have an assortment of
extended family members embracing them and
loving them – grandparents, aunts, uncles, and
cousins alike. We also have two nieces; both of
whom we adore. Our families have been
extremely supportive of our adoption journey and
are excited and looking forward to welcoming a
child into the family through adoption.

Our Story
We met fourteen years ago on a blind date
that was arranged by a mutual friend. We
immediately knew that we had something
special; even before getting engaged, we
began planning for the future and discussing
our views on life and parenting. For as long
as we have been together we have believed in
our hearts that we are meant to be parents.
We dated exclusively for six years before
getting engaged on New Year’s Eve in 2006.
We were married in March of 2008 with our
friends and family present to share our
special day. We’ve been blessed to be
husband and wife now for over eight years
and best friends for over fourteen years. Our
relationship is built on love, trust,
commitment and open communication.

About Danielle
Danielle has a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource
Management with the intention of furthering her
education and achieving a Master’s degree. Danielle works
for a city government agency that she has been employed
by for over seventeen years. She currently is a manager of
a community center that has programming for all ages;
including swimming, after-school, sports, and summer
camp programs. She has fostered youth programming by
creating unique, structured activities for children to
participate in as well as enrich their lives. A loving and
compassionate individual, Danielle has also played a key
role in mentoring youth into the positive young adults they
are today. Her longevity in working with the agency
ensures that she will be able to take time off and have a
flexible work schedule to take care of the baby.
Danielle loves to cook, but mostly baking is a hobby of
hers. She also loves to spend time with family, read,
travel, attending sporting events, Broadway shows, and
watch NASCAR.

About Gary
Gary works and is also a part time student
working his way to earning his Bachelor’s
degree. He currently holds an Associates
Degree in Human Services and he is employed
by a private, non-profit agency. His employer
will provide a flexible work schedule so that
Gary can take time off when the baby arrives
and help take care of the baby every day.
Gary’s hobbies include traveling, movies, and
attending sporting events. He is a very
dedicated, smart, caring individual that is every
inch the passionate sports enthusiast! From
baseball, hockey, basketball to NASCAR, Gary
loves his sports! He can’t wait to share his
passion for sports with a child.

Our Home
We reside in a nice community in the State of New York which
has many families with young children. In choosing our residence
and being the type of people that plan ahead, we took the
opportunity to also carefully look at the safety of the
neighborhood, excellent local school district, walking distance to
parks and community center, and other community resources.
We did this with the intention of expanding our family and
wanting the best education and opportunities available.

Parenting Philosophy
Family is very important to both of us and our supportive
families always instilled in us the importance of a good
education, strong work ethic, and solid morals. We intend
to emphasize those coupled with the values of respecting
others, appreciating differences, and being kind to others.
We will guide the child to be creative, follow their own
interests, and make safe, educated choices in their life. We
will do everything possible to help them reach their full
potential while having fun along the way.

We both plan to stay at home with the baby as
long as possible. When it is time for us to return
to work, our work schedules will be adjusted so
that one of us will always be home with the baby
until he or she is old enough to attend early
education. We are ready for the sounds of a child
in our home. We are ready for the sleepless
nights, dirty diapers, snuggling, nurturing, and
experiences that will come with parenting.
