Location:
Alghero is located in a broad, beautiful roadstead of the north-west of Sardinia. It is the tourist
capital of the coral Riviera.
The resort is inside of the Military Airport in the district of Alghero Fertilia, at about 12 km from the
city.
The resort does not have a private beach. Guests can enjoy the beaches surrounding the town
(the nearest beach is about 8 km from the resort) and extending for about 80 km, in an
environmental succession of suggestive rocky coastlines and wonderful fine sand beaches.
Resort facilities:
Two-roomed flats with three, four or six beds. Private
services, sat TV, fridge. Inside the area are available a mess hall, a recreational room, a bar, an
amusement arcade (with table-tennis) and a card-room.

Check-in in the morning of the first day of the assigned period. Check-out within 09:00 on the
morning after the last assigned day.

How to get there:
- by train:
the train station of Alghero is about 12 km from the resort;
- by plane:
the nearest airport is Alghero Fertilia, next to the resort;
- by ship:
the nearest harbour is Porto Torres at about 35 km. Another harbour is Olbia where
you can take the SS 597 road to Sassari, then the SS 131 from the ring-road, the
SS 291 for Alghero Fertilia and, at the junction of S. Maria la Palma turn left, after 4
km you find the Military Airport.

Location:
Wonderful promontory between Alassio and Imperia, Capo Mele offers beautiful views and, in the
nearby, comfortable beaches. The resort is in the town of Andora Marina is at 109 metres a.s.l. in a
pinewood that extends for almost 4,5 hectares, on the west riviera of the Ligurian Sea.
Resort facilities:
Rooms with private services, 3 single beds, a fridge, TV set. The guests have at their disposal a
five-a-side football court, a gym, a billiard, a TV room, a card-room, a dancing room, an aperitif
lounge, a solarium, an amusement park.
The resort is not equipped with a catering service.
About 2 km far there is a lido (free of charge for the guests of the Resort).

Location:
Dobbiaco, little town at about 1234 metres a.s.l. in Trentino Alto Adige Region, lies on the border of
the wild and romantic Val di Landro from where you can enjoy a unique lovely overview on the
three Lavaredo peaks, pearls of the Dolomites. That’s the reason why Dobbiaco is also called the
“three peaks town”.
The Air Force resort “Villa Irma” is only 12 kilometres from the Italian-Austrian border (Prato alla
Drava) and 110 kilometres from the crossing of Brennero border (Vipiteno).
Resort facilities:
The resort has quadruple rooms with private services and TV. In each room you will find a set of 3
towels (these will be changed after 7 days. For an earlier change you must pay en extra fee of €
2,50). There are also 2 TV rooms, a billiard room, a card-room and a recreation room for children
(mini club) with games, tv-set and table-football. You will find also a country-style restaurant.

Check-in after 15:00 hrs on the first day of the assigned period. On this day you can have lunch
from 12:45 to 13:15 hrs. Check-out within 09:30 on the last assigned day.

- by plane:
the closest airports are Treviso – Sant’Angelo and Verona Villafranca;
- by train:
the train station is 500 metres from the resort;
- by car:
coming from south and from Milan: travel Motorway A 22 until Bressanone exit then
take the provincial road nr. 49 of Val Pusteria. Drive for 60 km up to Dobbiaco;
- by car:
coming from Venice: travel Motorway A 27 until Belluno exit and then take the
provincial road nr. 51. Drive for 90 km up to Dobbiaco.

Location:
Firenze is in the middle the Toscana Region and in the middle of North-Center Italy itself.
The rooms are in the Aeronautics Science Institute, inside of the Parco delle Cascine (Cascine
Park).
Resort facilities:
The rooms (2nd floor – no lift) are furnished with a double bed and a sofa (suitable only for 1 adult
or 2 small children). They have private services, air conditioned, airdryer, TV set, fridge, towels,
shower-towels, soap, shampoo and shower-caps.
The guests can also enjoy a Mess, an All Ranks Club with a bar, a tennis court, a swimming-pool
and a five-a-side ground.

It’s possible to arrive past 11:00 a.m. on the first day of the assigned period. The rooms should be
left within 09:30 a.m. on the last assigned day.

- By car: on the Motorway A1 take exit FIRENZE SCANDICCI; drive direction Firenze-PisaLivorno, then after 2 km take exit VIALI CIRCONVALLAZIONE – SIENA. At this point you

Location:
Furbara is, on the Lazio coast, not too far from Rome, in an area rich in archaeological Etruscan
and Roman evidence. The seaside resort is close to the main road SS 1 Aurelia inside of the Air
Force Detachment, at about 24 km from Civitavecchia and about 50 km from Rome.
Resort facilities:
Bungalows of 50 square metres with private services, kitchen, 2 double rooms (5th bed on request),
TV set on request. Two bars of which one on the beach, a pizza house, a minimarket, and a
children equipped area.
The shore is equipped with cabins, umbrellas, sun loungers and deck-chairs.
The sports facilities include two tennis courts, a swimming pool, a beach-volley and basketball
playground, a five-a-side pitch and a ping pong table.
During your stay you can enjoy organized games, tournaments and other sports-recreational
activities, as well as musical evenings and dinner-parties.

Location:
Loreto is in Marche Region, near Conero’s coastline, 4 km from Porto Recanati and the sea. The
rooms are inside a Military School in the town centre.
Resort facilities:
7 triple rooms with private services, TV set, fridge. Accessories: 1 bath-robe per person and 2
towels. The rooms are located at the first floor (no lift).
The guests can have the meals at the Mess (breakfast not included – it can be done at the Base
Bar).
The Military Lido 4 km. from the Base where the guests can enjoy all the beach services and also
have lunch (ONLY LUNCH) by a previous reservation.

Location:
Palmaria Island closes the horizon of Portovenere, separated from the ancient medieval hamlet by
a strait, known as “Le Bocche”.
The seaside resort Detachment is part of The Air Force Ranker Volunteers Training School of
Cadimare (La Spezia) to whom it depends.
Resort facilities:
The guests are accommodated in “4x4 metres” field tents (model Italian Army) for 1 family each.
They are furnished with 4 beds, lockers, cooling fan and have on hand a bathroom in brickwork
with sanitary and shower.
At disposal of the guests canoe and pedal boat at the shore and a multi-purpose surface equipped
for volleyball, basketball and five-a-side soccer.
You can also find a self service restaurant, bar, amusement arcade (with video games, ping pong
and table-football, TV tent, laundry (with possibility of using no-cost washing machines), infirmary
and lifeguard service at the shore.

of the last assigned day.

How to get there:
It’s possible to reach the island using a civil boat service (for a fee) departing from the dock inside
of the Volunteers School of Cadimare.
There are two connections available to the guests, at 10:00 hrs and 11:30 hrs on the first day of
the assigned period, that’s why it is important to be at Cadimare not later than 10:00 a.m. After
11:30 hrs you can go to the “Revel” quay and look for the “Gruppo Battellieri” (a private boatmen
service) of the Gulf.
Inside the School a large parking area is at guests’ disposal where they can leave their cars for all
the period.

Location:
A few km. from Loreto, on the seacoast, on the main road nr. 16. The rooms are inside the Military
Base at Porto Potenza Picena.
Resort facilities:
8 double rooms with private services, TV set, fridge. Accessories: 1 bath-robe per person and 2
towels . Only overnight without breakfast. Mess service only on July. On August you can have
meals at Loreto (reservation required).

Location:
Rome is in the Lazio region of central Italy, at the confluence of the Aniene and Tiber (Italian:
Tevere) rivers. Although the city center is about 24 kilometers inland from the Tyrrhenian Sea, the
city territory extends to the very shore, where the south-western Ostia district is located. The
altitude of Rome ranges from 13 meters above sea level (in Piazza del Popolo) to 120 meters
above sea level (the peak of Monte Mario). The comune of Rome covers an overall area of about
1,285 square kilometers, including many green areas.

The lodgings are inside the Military Airport of Centocelle.
The lodgings are furnished with a double bed and a sofa (suitable only for 1 adult or 2 small

- By car: on the Motorway A1 take exit Roma G.R.A. (G.R.A. is a 70 km. long ring around the
city) then exit nr. 21 “Tuscolana” (towards city centre);

“Numidio Quadrato” and then 10 minutes by feet to the airport;
- By plane: from Fiumicino Airport take the shuttle to the train station then see above.

Location:
It is a complex of limestone composition whose highest peak is the Terminillo Mountain (2216
metres) while the other two smaller ones are the Terminelletto (2108 metres) and the
Terminelluccio (1868 metres).
Because of 40 km. ski slopes it is one of the most equipped winter resorts.
The Air Force Resort is at an altitude of 1625 metres in Pian delle Valli locality , in the heart of the
characteristic mountain village of Terminillo, at only 20 km from the City of Rieti and 90 km from
Rome.
Resort facilities:
Quadruple rooms with private services, TV set, bath robes and towels. The resort doesn’t have its
own sports facilities, but it has large balconies, halls for staying and meeting, dancing room and a
mess hall.

the distance from Rome is 85 km travelling the Salaria Road, 150 km from Perugia,

the Motorway A1 Florence-Rome take “Orte” exit direction Rieti;
- by bus :
the resort is reached by many regional service buses.
