Early Literacy Activities:

Preschool children love to pretend! Encourage your child to creatively move like
the animals on a farm.
·
Help children practice their listening skills with non-competitive games such as
“Simon Says” on the farm. For Example: “Simon Says moo like a cow.”
·
Show your child a picture of a farm animal, have you child then make
the sound that the animal makes. Repeat with different animals.
·
Say the word “farm” with your child. Have them identify other words that
rhyme with it, such as: harm, charm, arm, and alarm. Do the same with
cow, pig, and sheep.
