Join the KPNA Board
It's a party!
Every year in June the Kevanna Park Neighborhood
Association (KPNA) holds elections for board
members. All positions will be open:
• Chair - leads the board
• Co-Chair - also leads the board and backs up the
chair
• Secretary - takes notes and records decisions
• Treasurer - manages KPNA funds
• Newsletter editor - publishes the newsletter
• Visioning Committee -- NEW -- a small
committee for longer-term planning.
End of July (date TBD)
KPNA Block Party with a Live DJ 7:00 pm -- 9:00 pm.
Serving on the board doesn't take much time and is a
great way to get to know your neighbors, show you
care about the neighborhood, make a difference in the
place you live and gain leadership experience.
Talk to any of the current board members listed on the
last page about what the position involves. Generally
speaking board members...
• Attend each monthly meeting
• Are a point of contact for activities
• Talk to city, county and other representatives
about neighborhood programs and resources
