Fertilizing Amazoy Zoysia Lawns:
If you decide to fertilize your lawn, DO NOT use ordinary granular fertilizers.
They can burn or cause serious damage to your lawn. We only recommend
using water-soluble fertilizer such as Nutri-20. Nutri-20 fertilizer has been
specially formulated for use on Amazoy zoysia grass. Established Amazoy
zoysia grass can be fertilized in May, June & September.
If fertilizing newly planted plugs, you can fertilize with Nutri-20 once every
two weeks for the first growing season. Please do not fertilize more often
than the 2-week time frame.
Each 10” X 15” grass sheet will produce 150 (1 inch sq.) plugs.

Our guarantee is to replace any plug that fails to grow within 45 days
of planting.
Please DO NOT use any type of weed control or any fertilizer other
than Nutri-20 on the plugs during this 45-day time frame.
Observe growth for 45 days. Amazoy zoysia grass needs consistent
temperatures in the 70’s in order to produce new green shoots.
If new green shoots fail to appear within 45 days please notify us.
We will accept claims for replacement plugs up to 60 days after
the planting date.

It is perfectly normal for Amazoy zoysia grass leaves to turn brown or dry
out during the shipping process. The grass is not dead. It has started to go
dormant. Amazoy zoysia needs light, water, time & warm temperatures to
come out of dormancy. Once planted, new buds will form on the roots or
stolons of the plugs. They will produce new lovely green zoysia blades.
When you receive the grass it will be in sheets. If you are not going to be
planting the grass within 2 days, please take the sheets out of the box
and turn them blade side up. Place plugs in open daylight but not in direct
sunlight. Mist plugs with water & keep moist until planted. This will allow
you 2-3 weeks to get your entire order planted. These are living plants
and must be cared for.
