Designed for patients at risk of rolling or falling from the bed, this pressure
surface offers all the benefits of a three layer memory foam mattress
combined with the added safety of raised, tapered sidewalls.
The ideal pressure surface for patients
at risk of rolling from their bed, the firm
concave sidewalls act as a gentle barrier
to keep the patient safely within the
middle of the sleeping surface while still
allowing easy bed exit.
Each foam layer is made of varying
densities to maximise the redistribution
of pressure. The memory foam top layer
conforms to the body’s shape, working in
combination with the higher resistance
support layer to disperse pressure evenly.
The core layer and side walls provide form,
strength and stability.
The foam is covered by a fire retardant
inner cotton cover for added protection.
This lining reduces the effects of
shearing forces between foam and top
cover for increased lifespan.
or emergency evacuation). With a 360
degree zipper for ease of removal, the
water resistant and vapour permeable
cover is also pre treated for protection
against mould, mildew and bacteria.
The polyurethane top cover features
multi-stretch material for reduced
shear and friction. With waterfall skirt to
provide protection from moisture and
bacterial ingress, seams are stitched
for strength, then welded maximum
infection control. The fully sealed base
incorporates sturdy carrying handles
(not to be used for patient transport
