TEXAS LOTTERY® GEARING UP TO GIVE AWAY
2017 DODGE CHALLENGER SRT® HELLCAT
Lucky Contest Finalists are from Abilene, Fresno, Mesquite and San Antonio
(AUSTIN) – On April 13, one of four lucky Texas Lottery® players will win a brand new 2017 Dodge
Challenger SRT® Hellcat at an event at Gas Monkey Garage™. The Texas Lottery and Richard Rawlings,
star of DISCOVERY CHANNEL's top-rated show Fast N' Loud and owner of Gas Monkey Garage™, will
announce the winner in Dallas.
Players of the Texas Lottery’s Gas Monkey Garage™ scratch ticket had the opportunity to enter tickets
that did not win instant cash prizes into promotional second-chance drawings for a chance to become a
finalist to win the grand prize, a 2017 Dodge Challenger SRT® Hellcat. Four finalists were chosen from
four separate drawings to participate in the giveaway event. The finalists are from Abilene, Fresno,
Mesquite and San Antonio. Each finalist will select a number corresponding to a garage door at Gas
Monkey Garage™. Only one finalist’s door will open to reveal the new car.
The grand prize is valued at $99,999.33 including state sales tax, title and registration fees, and federal
withholding tax. The car will be customized by Gas Monkey Garage™.
Each of the four finalists received $10,000 for travel to participate in the giveaway event which will be
emceed by lifestyle guru Steve Kemble.
“We knew our players would enjoy a Gas Monkey Garage™ themed game and the opportunity to win a car
customized by Richard’s world famous team,” said Gary Grief, executive director of the Texas Lottery.
The Gas Monkey Garage™ scratch ticket generated $11.4 million in sales and an estimated $2.6 million
in revenue for public education in Texas. In addition to the chance to win the 2017 Dodge Challenger
SRT® Hellcat, the $2 scratch ticket offered more than $8.6 million in total prizes, including five top
prizes of $25,000.

The Dodge Challenger SRT® Hellcat giveaway event will take place on Thursday, April 13 at 10 a.m. at
Gas Monkey Garage™ located at 2330 Merrell Road in Dallas.
