Bluely celebrates its third birthday!
At the initiative of the Metropolis of Lyon, Bluely, the city’s self-service 100% electric vehicle sharing system,
was launched in October 2013 by the Bolloré Group, with the deployment of 130 Bluecars and 51 stations.
Today, Bluely includes 302 vehicles and 101 stations across Lyon and 10 neighboring districts.
In three years, Bluely was able to adapt to the needs of its 7,255 members both by densifying the network
of stations and expanding its offerings. Since 2015, the service has included 44 Renault Twizys. These
electric two-seaters are provided through a partnership with Renault. For Bluely’s third birthday, 30 Citroën
C-Zeros, city cars made by PSA, will join the fleet beginning October 18, 2016.
These C-Zero will be fully integrated into the network, allowing them to be rented and reserved at any time,
just like the Bluecars and Twizys the service already offers. They will enjoy 24/7 assistance and free parking
so that users can drive with full peace of mind.
