BEFORE THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
MARTIN COUNTY, FLORIDA
ORDINANCE NUMBER 85
AN ORDINANCE ADOPTING SUPPLEMENT NO. 5 TO THE CODE
OF LAWS AND ORDINANCES OF MARTIN COUNTY, FLORIDA AND AMENDING
SAID CODE THEREBY; REPEALING CONFLICTING PROVISIONS OF LAW;
DIRECTING THAT A COPY OF THIS ORDINANCE BE FILED WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATION AND THE DEPARTMENT OF
STATE; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, this Board has made the following determinations of fact:
1.
Municipal Code Corporation has prepared SUPPLE-
MENT NO. 5 to the CODE OF LAWS AND ORDINANCES OF MARTIN COUNTY,
FLORIDA; and
2.
It is necessary and proper to adopt said Supple-
ment No. 5 and thereby to amend said Code as previously amended;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF MARTIN COUNTY, FLORIDA, THAT:
PART ONE:
ADOPTION OF SUPPLEMENT NO. 5 TO CODE OF LAWS AND
ORDINANCES OF MARTIN COUNTY, FLORIDA; AMENDMENT
OF CODE THEREBY.
SUPPLEMENT NO. 5 to the CODE OF LAWS AND ORDINANCES
OF MARTIN COUNTY, FLORIDA, a copy of which supplement is attached hereto and incorporated herein as Exhibit "A", be and
hereby is adopted and the CODE OF LAWS AND ORDINANCES OF MARTIN COUNTY, FLORIDA, be and hereby is amended thereby.
(NOTE:
Since Exhibit "At' is published and copies are available for
sale in the County Attorney's Office and copies are also available for public use in the Martin County Public Library, the
Martin County Law Library and the County Administrator's Office,
said exhibit shall be omitted from published notices concerning
adoption of this ordinance.)
PART TWO:
REPEAL.
Special acts of the Florida Legislature applicable
only to unincorporated areas of Martin County, county ordinances
and county resolutions, or parts thereof, in conflict with this
ordinance are hereby abolished and repealed to the extent of
such conflict.
PART THREE:
FILING WITH DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATION.
In order to comply with Section 373.023, FLORIDA
STATUTES, the County Attorney shall send a certified copy of
this ordinance to the Bureau of Water Resources Management,
115 Bloxham Street, Pennington Building, Tallahassee, Florida,
32304.
PART FOUR:
FILING WITH DEPARTMENT OF STATE.
The Clerk be and hereby is directed forthwith to
send a certified copy of this ordinance to the Bureau of Laws,
Department of State, The Capitol, Tallahassee, Florida, 32304.
PART FIVE:
EFFECTIVE DATE.
This ordinance shall take effect upon receipt of
official acknowledgment from the Office of Secretary of State
that this ordinance has been filed in that office.
