EQAO Quiz
I hope everyone had a very restful holiday. I am sure the students have set goals
for themselves for the coming year. The first report card will be coming out at the
beginning of February. Our Habit for this month is Putting First Things First. The
message for students is “I spend my time on things that are most important. This
means I say no to things I should not do. I set priorities, make schedule, and follow
my plan. I am organized.”
There are many things happening at Alexandra this month. The KIDS program will
have their graduation, the Attack players will visit and some of the students will be
seeing a drama presentation.
The SCC is hosting some family events over the next three months. There is road
hockey in January and free skating in February and March. Please plan on joining
us for some family fun.
P.Hellyer, Principal
We are very excited to announce that Mr. WOLFGANG

the age of 8 years old. He is a third generation artist and
studied art and music at Univesity of British Columbia.

Please Dress for the Weather
The weather is quickly changing but unless it is pouring rain or so cold that there is a concern of frostbite, the
children are outside at each recess. Please make sure they have a warm coat, boots, hats and mitts. For primary
students it is preferable to have snowpants in the winter and a change of clothes for those occasional accidents.
Please write names in all snowpants and jackets. There are many, many plain, black snowpants in the school
