Pear Marble Tray Bake Ingredients 100g sugar 100g margarine 2 eggs 100g self-raising flour 1 tbsp cocoa powder 1 tsp baking powder ½ pear Equipment Baking tin/tray Mixing bowl Green chopping board Knife Table spoon Tea spoon Cooling rack Plastic plate Method 1. Prepare self and surface. Collect equipment and preheat oven to 180°C 2. Prepare baking tin/tray 3. Combine eggs, flour, margarine, sugar and baking powder and mix well 4. When there are no lumbs, transfer ½ the mixture to another mixing bowl 5. Add the coco powder to this bowl and mix well 6. Peel, core and chop the pear – think about shape – and arrange nicely on the bottom of the tin/tray 7. Dot the plain cake mixture on top of the pears 8. Use the chocolate mixture to fill in the gaps and use a knife to gently marble 9. Put into the oven using oven gloves for 20 minutes 10. Put all rubbish away and begin washing up 11. Check cake after 20 minutes, use a skewer to check it is cooked. If it comes out clean the cake is ready 12. Transfer cake onto wire cooling rack to cool and wash up tin/tray 13.
