Karen Louisa Hunter

There are stars whose radiance is visible
on Earth though they have long been
extinct. There are people whose
brilliance continues to light the world
though they are no longer among the living.
These lights are particularly bright
when the night is dark. - Hannah Senesh
(Poet, playwriter and paratrooper)

Dedication to Karen
Hymn: Now Is The Hour
Now is the hour
When we must say goodbye.
Soon you’ll be sailing
Far across the sea.
While you’re away
Oh, then, remember me.
When you return
You’ll find me waiting here.
I’ll dream of you
if you will dream of me
Each hour I’ll miss you
here across the sea
Reading: Death Is Nothing At All

it’s just a sweet adieu
