(PITTSBURGH) August 6, 2014 -- Join international medical relief agency Global Links for an
evening celebrating the traditions of the Mexican holiday “Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead)”
and the work of Global Links, Saturday, November 1, from 8 p.m. to midnight.
In Mexico, November 1st is a day of celebration and remembrance of departed loved ones.

Guests will enjoy delicious Latin American cuisine from local chefs, crowd favorite cervezas,
delicious vino and wickedly good vodka punch.
Guests are invited to attend in their most extravagant costume or dress in the Dia De Los

About Global Links
Global Links is a medical relief and development organization dedicated to improving health in more-resource-poor communities, primarily in the Western Hemisphere. Every year, Global Links
-more1
collaborates with U.S. health care institutions and the community to recover hundreds of tons of
high-quality surplus medical materials that would otherwise be sent to landfills. These materials
are shared with public health institutions that are providing care for their country’s most
vulnerable people.
In western Pennsylvania, Global Links offers numerous volunteer opportunities, donates materials
to other non-profit organizations, and supports international medical service trips. For more
information, visit www.globallinks.org.
