Worm Farm Report: As you know there has been lots of rain recently in Engadine so the Bright Green Sparks have been working hard to clear the water out of the worm farm area and dry up the mud. But the worms are still nice and snug with lots of food to eat. REMINDER: Do not put citrus in the pink bins as they are a hazard to the worms Worm Juice Sales: 2L bottles are for $2 each If you would like to buy some worm juice please talk to Mr Edwards in class 4E or talk to one of our fabulous Bright Green Spark Leaders (look for the badge). Please Note: All money goes towards the school. Please Explain With Michael Thompson What is a Worm Farm? A worm farm is a tub or box which has Compost Worms in it. You put your kitchen scraps in the Worm Farm to feed them so it doesn’t cost much to feed them. There are 3 layers in a Worm Farm which is shown in the diagram below:
