Subject: Jackson County Four Year Road Plan FY 2016-2019
The following plan describes and projects improvements to be accomplished on Jackson County Roads and
Bridges and a time frame in which the work is anticipated.
Road Projects FY2016
1. Yellow Jacket Boulevard - Old Fort Bayou Intersection Improvement Project.
2. Caraway Road - Right of way to be purchased from Hurley-Wade Road to Section 29.
3. Wire Road - All culverts will be replaced and curves will be re-aligned from Section 24 to Stone County Line.
4. Old Fort Bayou Curve Re-Alignment Project: Right of way cleared, utilities moved and road construction. T-7-S, R-8-W.
Section 8.
5. McGregor Road - The final section of unimproved road will be overlaid.
6. John Smith Road - The final section of unimproved road will be fixed and DBST II roadway from Section 29 to Larue Road.
7. I-10 Connector Road - All right of way will be cleaned and utilites relocated.
8. Lemoyne Boulevard - Brittany Avenue Traffic Signalization Project.
9. Old Spanish Trail Shoulder Improvement Project.
10. Hwy 609/Old Fort Bayou Intersection Project: Start preliminary engineering and right of way.
11. McClelland Road - Replace cross drains and asphalt roadway from Tucker Road to Daisy Vestry Road.
12. Seaman Road - Repair Base failures and asphalt road from Antioch Road to County Landfill.
13. Old River Road - Roadway will be overlaid and striped from Kenneth Cole Road to Wade-Vancleave Road.

Walker Road - Existing Road will be widened, realigned and overlaid from Moneyfarm Road to Savannah Pines Subdivision.
15. Jackson County Safety Projects.
16. Woodlake Lane Project - Curve Realignment Project will be overlaid from Eglin Road to Sandhill Crane Boundry.
Road Projects FY2017
1. Ellis Hamilton Road - Acquire right of way from Section 29 to Gavin Hamilton Road.
2. Wire Road - Re-align and overlay road from Old Biloxi Road to Section 24.
3. I-10 Connector Road - Construct new five lane phase of road from Harrison County Line East to Victoria Drive.
4. Hwy 609 / Old Fort Bayou Intersection Project: Complete right of way acquisitions and relocate utilities.
5. Old Fort Bayou Road - All right of way to be purchased and utilities relocated from Rose Farm Road to Webb Road.
6. Seaman Road - Repair base failures and overlay road from County Landfill to Hwy 609.
7. Old Biloxi Road - Asphalt overlay road from Indian Fork Road to Larue Road.
8. Orange Grove Road - Asphalt and stripe roadway from Hwy 90 to Pond Road.
9. Humphrey Road - Overlay and stripe roadway from Old Fort Bayou to Hwy 57.
10 John Smith Road - Roadway will be overlaid from Jim Ramsay Road to Big Burn Road.
11. Walker Road - New Roadway will be constructed from Savannah Pines Subdivision East to Old Fort Bayou Road.
12. Ocean Springs-Vancleave Road Project: Widen shoulders, rumble strips, overlay and stripe.
13. Daisy Vestry Road - Overlay Roadway from Tucker Road to Johnson Still Road.

Road Project FY2018
1. I-10 Connector Road Phase II - New intersection will be constructed from Seaman Road to Tucker Road and from Tucker
Road to Cook Road.
2. Old Fort Bayou Road - Roadway will be widened and overlaid from Rose Farm Road to Webb Road.
3. Hwy 609 / Old Fort Bayou Intersection Project: New intersection will be constructed.
4. Center Street - Replace cross drains and asphalt roadway from Main Street to the end.
5. Slider Road - Roadway will be asphalted from Hwy 614 to Hurley-Wade Road.
6. Frank Snell Road - Roadway will be overlaid and striped from Hwy 613 to Hwy 614.
7. Jean Lane - Roadway will be overlaid from Biddix- Evans to Shelby Lane.
8. Jordan Road - Repair base failures and asphalt roadway from Seaman Road to Jim Ramsay Road.
9. Ellis Hamilton Road - Widen and overlay roadway from Hurley-Wade Road North 3100'
10. Wire Road - Roadway to be soil cemented and DBST II treatment from Larue-Dantzler Road to Section 24.
Road Project FY2019
1. Bayou Talla Road - Widen and overlay roadway from Old Fort Bayou to the end.
2. Wire Road - Roadway will be soil cemented and DBST II surface treatment from Larue-Dantzler Road to Stone County Line.
3. Seaman Road - Widen and asphalt overlay roadway from Old Fort Bayou to Bloomfield Road.
4. Ellis Hamilton Road - Widen and overlay roadway from Gavin Hamilton Road South 3100'.
5. Old Biloxi Road Project: Widen Roadway and intersection improvements from Bayou Costapia Bridge North 1.25 miles.
6. Independence Road - Replace cross drains and overlay roadway from Marthaler Road to the end.
7. White Road - Asphalt roadway from Hwy 57 to the end.
Road Project FY2020
1. Tanner-Williams Road - Asphalt overlay and stripe from Hwy 613 to State Line Road.
3. Eglin Road - Asphalt roadway from Kippie Cut-Off Road to Old Fort Bayou Road.
4. I-10 Connector Road Phase III: Last section of Roadway will be widened to five lanes from Victoria Drive East to Phase II.
5. Pointe Aux Chennes - Roadway will be overlaid and striped from Fountainbleau Road to Beach View Drive.
6. Fontainbleau Road - Will be overlaid and stripped from Greyhound Way to Old Spanish Trail.
