Methods and Traceabilitv:
The weight(s) described above has been compared with the standards of the State of Ohio, which are traceable to the lnternational System of Units
(Sl) through the National lnstitute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and records are on file. The item(s) was found to be appropriate for the
intended use and certified according to NIST Class F specifications and tolerances as set forth in NIST Handbook 105-1 .
Traceable No. for Ohio Standards Used: 2016-0001
The following NIST Standard Operating Procedure (S'O'P') was used:

ncertaintv statement:
The combined standard uncertainty includes the standard uncertainty reported for the standard, the standard uncertainty for the measurement
process, the standard uncertainty for any uncorrected errors associated with buoyancy corrections, and components of uncertainty to account for
any other known factors. The combined standard uncertainty is multiplied by an appropriate coverage factor (k) to provide an expanded uncertainty
which defines an interval having a level of confidence of approximately 95 percent. (See following page(s) for coverage factors used.)
'^
Conventional Mass (Also known as Aooarent Mass versus 8.0 g/cm3):
Conventional mass values are reported. The conventional mass of an item is the mass the item would have weighed in air under conventional
conditions defined in OIML D 28 as follows: 20 "C air temperature; 0.0012 g/cmr air density; 8.0 g/cm3 reference mass density.
. The effects of magnetism have not been considered on this report.
. Before and after values will not apply to cast iron weights that have been cleaned and repainted before submission to the laboratory for
calibration.
