Rotorua Mini Marathon 2016

Energy Events Centre, Rotorua
TIME:
Check-in at 9:00am. First race at 10am. Prize-giving at completion of Mini Marathon.
AGE:
Year 1 - 8 Children
COST:
$5.00 per child to be paid to the school office (Sport BOP to invoice your school after the
event)
ENTRIES:
Entries received by Friday 18th March 2016 will receive personalised printed race numbers.
All late entries received after this date will pay $7.00 per child and receive handwritten race
numbers. Final entries are due by Friday 8th April 2016.
MARSHALS:
All schools will be required to provide one volunteer marshal for the day.
DETAILS OF THE EVENT
Registrations are now open for the 2016 Rotorua Mini Marathon. Once registered, children will receive an
official Mini Marathon Passport in which they will track their progress at completing 40km of running (or
walking) in the build up to the event. They then have the opportunity to complete the final 2.1km of their
marathon on the actual Rotorua Marathon Course on Thursday 14th April 2016. Registered children will receive
an official race bib with their name, school, and number printed on it. There will be spot prizes given away at
prize giving and those who successfully complete their final 2.1km will have an Official Certificate of Completion
mailed to their school!
RULES
 There is no limit to the number of entries from each school.
 Obey the marshals and officials at all times

compensation to you or approval by you.
