(MHRI), the research arm of MedStar
Health, comprises more than 250
active investigators who conduct
groundbreaking research across the
health system. Last year, over 950
active studies, involving thousands
of participants, resulted in more than
550 medical publications. MHRI’s
research – from bench, to bedside, to
community – complements the key
clinical services and teaching programs
in MedStar’s hospitals, advancing
