Water Fitness Schedule As of January 2, 2017 Session drop-in rates, 3-month passes and annual passes are only valid for open recreation and open lap aquatic time (those items on schedule in bold). River Walk/Jog is included as a benefit to 3-month and annual pass holders. Daily session fees for those programs are also available for drop-in guests. There are separate fees for swim lessons, water fitness, Homeschool Program, FlowRider®, U.S. Master's Swimming and other aquatic programs (those tems on schedule NOT in bold). WATER FITNESS CLASS DESCRIPTIONS HIGH INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING (HIIT) Get ready to run, kick, push, pull, and HIIT your way to a greater level of fitness! Woven into this class is the opportunity for fat loss, strength gains, improved agility, cardio conditioning, and fun that interval training is known to deliver. Be challenged to breathe and work harder for short periods of time. You will look and feel better as a result! HIGH INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING DEEP (HIIT DEEP)* High intensity intervals have never been more fun than in a totally suspended environment! Jump, kick, run, and punch with no impact, but all the benefits! DEEP WATER* This non-impact deep water class incorporates muscular strengthening for both upper and lower body, aerobics conditioning and abdominal toning exercises. In it you’ll use flotation equipment for buoyancy and water resistance. A great full body workout! Participants should be comfortable in deep water. CARDIO+YOGA This class is a fusion of cardio training followed by aqua yoga moves bringing you added balance, flexibility and strength. RIVER BOOT CAMP No "boots" allowed in this camp-style class, though water shoes are recommended! Our River Boot Camp is an intense combination of intervals and traveling moves with and against the current that is guaranteed to transform your body, your core and your stamina! RIVER FIT A popular workout in our lazy river that involves cardio, interval and strength training as you work with and against the current. Time goes by quickly in this class! SILVER SPLASH Senior water exercise class in our 20-yard recreation pool. Silver Splash offers fun, shallow-water movement to improve agility and flexibility while addressing cardiovascular, strength and endurance conditioning. No swimming ability is required and a Silver Sneakers kickboard or other aquatic equipment is used to improve strength, balance and coordination. Note: Water shoes are recommended. PADDLE BOARD YOGA* Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced yogi, the moment you set foot on the board you will realize that practicing on water is a distinctly different experience. Taking your sun salutation out of the studio and onto the board helps you develop a whole new appreciation for the balance and focus required for every pose. Mindfulness just comes naturally here, as your mind and body click into place to welcome this fresh new adventure. This is a speciality class with a unique fee structure. Boost your energy and shake off anything you don’t want any more in this blend of dancing and high intermittent intensity training.
