a. Rental comes with one AVIT staff to operate simulator. If additional staff is required, there will be extra charges as listed above.
b. Rental of half centre includes the use of 2 patient simulators or skill simulators, and that of the whole centre includes the use of up to 4 patient simulators or skill simulators. If additional patient
simulator(s) or skill simulator(s) is required, there will be extra charges as listed above.
c. Skill Simulators include LAP Mentor, GI-Bronch Mentor, Heartworks Dual Transesophageal Echocardiography (TEE)/ Transthoracic echocardiography (TTE), TVS Scantrainer, US machine with
linear probe, and Testchest with Servo-i and bedside monitor. Patient Simulators include SimMan 3G, SimMom, SimJunior, SimBaby, SimNewB and Megacode Kelly.
d. 200% of the standard rate will be charged for activities organised by commercial organisations.
Consumable fee
1. Basic consumable fee per course (up to a max. of 20 participants) will be HKD2,500 inclusive of oxygen, iv fluids, iv cannula, drip sets, syringes, needles, blades, endotrachael tube, tracheostomy
tube, intubation consumables, airway accessories, oxygen therapy devices and tubings, tapes (e.g. tegaderm, micropore and blendem). Additional HKD100 per head will be charged for additional
headcounts.
2 Additional consumable fee will be estimated by HKJC ILCM based on user requirements where relevant.

Half day = 4 hours, full day = 8 hours. In the event of overrunning or extra hiring hours, pro‐rata hiring rates will apply. Fraction of an hour will be counted as a full hour, e.g. If the Centre is rented for half day (i.e. 4 hours) but the actual usage time is 6.5 hours (i.e. overrun for 2.5 hours), the total rental charged is 7 hours. 2. Consumable fee are not included in the rental. The standard venue setting is for reference only and can be changed based on the course/event requirements. The rental of half centre includes the use of 2 patient simulators or skill simulators, and that of the whole centre includes the use of up to 4 patient simulators or skill simulators. Additional patient simulator(s) or skill simulator(s) required will be charged separately. HKJC ILCM reserves the right to make the final decision. 4. Renting of Skill Simulators/selected Part‐task trainers by individuals: a) User, if not an Academy Fellow, must be accompanied by an Academy Fellow. b) Maximum of 2 users is allowed per Simulator. 5. For the floor plan of the HKJC ILCM, please refer to Appendix 3. 6. All prices shown in this fee schedule are subject to change according to regular or irregular price review exercises by the HKJC ILCM. 8 | P a g e
