Chemical peels and derma roller (micro needling) to improve the skin's appearance are some
of the most popular non invasive treatments in the UK today and are very easy to learn and
add to your treatment list, as well as doubling your profit!!
Our comprehensive training course aims to provide you with the skills and knowledge
necessary to provide these treatments, covering all aspects from core knowledge including a
skin anatomy and physiology, skin problems and “hands on” practice.
Chemical peel treatment uses an acid to remove the outer layers of the skin and are commonly
used in the face or backs of hands to improve rough skin texture, fine lines and wrinkles, age
spots, sun damage, blemishes, scars or acne and actinic keratosis (precancerous skin growth).
Whereas Derma roller treatment uses skin needling to stimulate tissue regeneration and is
used in particular for scarring, wrinkles, hair loss, open pores, pigmentation, stretch marks.

This course is suitable for those that have no experience in this area. Our courses are for all –
surgeons, doctors, dentists, and nurses.
The course will be particularly useful for non prescribing nurses who wish to build up their
treatment range where we will show you how you can receive excellent treatment results
without using botox.
For Beauty Therapists & Clinic Owners: You are welcome to attend the course and will
gain a better understanding and knowledge update on skin anatomy, physiology, skin
problems and the range of skin treatments. In the practical session there will be demos and
you will work on lighter skin peels.

Expert tutor: Mr Taimur Shoaib, MD, FRCSEd (Plast) is a Consultant plastic surgeon at the
Canniesburn Plastic Surgery Unit, and at the Glasgow Nuffield Hospital. He is also the owner
of La Belle Forme Clinic and an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer, University of Glasgow.
Taimur’s main areas of practice in plastic surgery include head and neck cancer surgery, facial
and breast cosmetic surgery and complex skin cancer surgery. He has several years'
experience of teaching and lecturing having delivered several hundred lectures on various
topics at invited and peer reviewed meetings.
