A Winter Day
I looked out of my window one winter’s day.
I saw icicles like razor-sharp shark’s teeth.
I saw snow falling like confetti drifting to the ground.
I saw roads with snow lying like a fluffy duvet.
I saw frosty puddles like feathers flying around.
I saw the icy path with a surface like polished glass.
When I looked out of my window one winter’s day.
