A great opportunity to meet with health and social service providers during the daily program… no need to make an appointment just come, meet and spend time with the community nutritionist, speech pathologist, health nurse, dental hygienist (and more) when they pop in to spend time at LaFF programs. Program is for prenatal to children up to 12 months of age. Healthy Beginnings is a weekly drop-in program open to all new moms and dads (and primary care givers) of infants. Parents discuss their joys and concerns and share how they cope with the challenges of caring for a baby. Guest speakers are invited to discuss topics of interest such as breastfeeding, speech and language development, introducing solid foods, sleeping, teething, choosing child care and making the home safe for baby.
