How long have you worked at FPS? I’ve been working with FPS for 5 years and 6 months. Before
coming to the Isle of Man, I worked as a Tele-Business Accounts Manager for Bass Ireland Brewery
in Belfast for 11 years.
What’s the best piece of career advice you’ve ever been given? My previous Manager once told me
that we spend so much of our lives in work so make sure you enjoy the job you are doing and you’ll
be happy.
What’s been the best part of your day so far? When I woke up this morning the birds were singing
and the sun was coming in through my bedroom window. Started the day in a great mood.
What is your favourite quote? Learn from Yesterday, Live for Today and Hope for Tomorrow.
If you were going to write an autobiography, what would it be called? Lady of the Rings (3
Engagements NO WEDDINGS!!!!!)
Would you rather live in the country or the city and why? That’s a difficult question. Coming from
a city, Belfast, I miss the hustle and bustle including the shopping and nightlife. But after a week or
two at home I’m ready for peace and quiet.
What’s your most annoying habit? My colleagues say I don’t make them enough cups of tea and
my sarcasm is quite annoying.
What was your favourite subject in school and why? PE. It was good craic and I enjoyed a break
from the classrooms.
What embarrasses you? Compliments.
What did you want to be when you were little? A Dancer.
If you could learn a random skill what would you learn? I would love to learn Italian. I’d also like to
learn more about cooking and baking. I enjoy baking and it relaxes me, but my skills are very limited.
What’s the first thing you notice about people? Their Smile.
What’s happiness to you? Being with my family and close friends.
