WHEREAS, such acts have been causing acute inconvenience and distress among the children, old aged persons, patients and students in particular pursuing their studies in the residential localities. WHEREAS, such High Volume sounds generated at Public Meetings, Marriages and Processions have been neutralizing Police Communication Systems deployed in relation to bandobust duties, thereby adversely affecting the function of maintenance of Public Order and Tranquillity by Law Enforcement Agencies. AND WHEREAS, it is considered expedient to take stringent and speedy measures to control the use of High Volume Sound Emitting Systems including DJs (High Volume Sound Mixers) in place of Public gatherings including processions in the residential localities. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred under Rule 8 of Noise Pollution (Regulation & Control) Rules 2000, I, M. Mahendar Reddy, IPS., Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City, do hereby make this written order and notify the same to the General Public Prohibiting the following within Hyderabad City, except in cases specifically permitted by the Divisional Asst. Commissioners of Police of the concerned jurisdiction: Use of High Volume Sound Systems including DJs (High Volume Sound Mixers) emanating sound levels beyond permissible limits in places of Public Gatherings including Processions in the Residential Localities. AND WHEREAS, such reports have been indicating that, persons consuming liquor in public places have been exhibiting abrasive unruly and indecent behavior on the streets of Hyderabad City towards law abiding citizens especially women and children in particular endangering their modesty and safety in addition to causing disturbance to public tranquility resulting in annoyance and obstruction to road users in general and women and children in particular. WHEREAS, such unruly and indecent behavior has been instilling a sense of fear psychosis in law abiding citizens, especially women and children resulting in restriction of their free movement on the streets of Hyderabad, thereby affecting public safety at large and safety and security of women and children in particular. AND WHEREAS, it is considered necessary to take speedy measures in this regard to prevent danger to human life and safety and security of women and children or for preventing any affray and disturbance of public tranquility. Now, therefore, in excise of the powers conferred upon me under Section 144 of Criminal Procedure Code 1973, I, M. After reviewing the situation carefully and with a view of maintain public order, peace and tranquility in the twin cites of Hyderabad and Secunderabad, I, M. Mahendar Reddy, IPS Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad in exercise of the powers conferred on me Under Section 22 (1) (d) to (f) and 22 (2) (a) and 22 (3) of Hyderabad City Police, Act do hereby issued the following prohibitory orders:1. Prohibit Assembly of 5 or more persons and any kind of processions or victory rally 2. On 19-03-2017 at about 1900 hours, the Santoshnagar Police of South Zone apprehended three persons at Rakshapuram near Owaisi School of Excellence with banned old currency notes denomination Rs 500/-and 1000/-.and other ten persons were not available, they belongs to Hyderabad and planned to exchange the banned old currency notes on 40% to 60% commission basis with one Ashok Kumar of Chilkanagar Uppal. During the area patrolling by Santoshnagar Police in the limits of Rakshapuram area found some persons gathered on the road near Owaisi School of Excellence at Rakshapuram with their cars 1) Maruthi Suzuki Ertiga bearing No: TS 11EA3698, and 2) Hundai- i10 car bearing No: AP 09 BY 2192. On scrutiny of the vehicles noticed the following persons possession unaccounted of old currency notes of Rs. 500/- & 1000/- denomination of total Rs. 1,35,80,000/- (one core thirty five lacks and eighty thousand rupees only). Total Rs. 1000/- denomination notes are (4,630 X 1000= 46,30,000/- ) and 500 denomination notes are (17,900 X 500= 89,50,000/-) were seized. All the amount collected by the 3 persons from the below known 9 persons to get them exchange with Ashok kumar (Exchange broker). The aforesaid persons along with the Rs 1,35,80,000/-(one core thirty five lacks and eighty thousand rupees only) seized unaccounted old currency notes of Rs. 500/- and 1000/- denomination along with seizure report would be produced to the income tax department for initiating the appropriate action against them as per income tax act.
