In exercise of the powers vested in me U/s 144 Cr.PC, I, M. Mahendar Reddy, IPS
Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City, within a view to maintain public order and peace in the twin
cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad, do hereby prohibit assembly of 5 or more persons at around the
GHMC Indoor Stadium, Amberpet Playground, Amberpet, Hyderabad in the limits of East Zone in
connection with Counting of Votes for the Biennial Elections to the Telangana Legislative Council in
respect of Teacher’s Constituencies in Hyderabad is scheduled to be held on 22-03-2017.
This order will remain in force from 0600 hours on 22-03-2017 to 1800 hours on 22-032017.
The public are hereby informed that, any person violating the above orders shall be
liable for prosecution.

NOTIFICATION
WHEREAS, reports have been received indicating that High Volume Sound Emitting Systems
including DJs (High Volume Sound Mixers) are being generating noise beyond permissible limits (day
time 55 db(A) and night time 45 db(A) in Residential Areas, day time 65 db(A) and night time 55 db(A)
in Commercial Areas) in places of public gatherings including Processions causing inconvenience,
disturbance, nuisance, annoyance and Under Section 67(c) prohibit bursting of fire crackers on public
places / public roads, public meetings and marriages to the residents of locality and public in general.
WHEREAS, such acts have been causing acute inconvenience and distress among the children,
old aged persons, patients and students in particular pursuing their studies in the residential localities.
WHEREAS, such High Volume sounds generated at Public Meetings, Marriages and Processions
have been neutralizing Police Communication Systems deployed in relation to bandobust duties,
thereby adversely affecting the function of maintenance of Public Order and Tranquillity by Law
Enforcement Agencies.
AND WHEREAS, it is considered expedient to take stringent and speedy measures to control the use of
High Volume Sound Emitting Systems including DJs (High Volume Sound Mixers) in place of Public
gatherings including processions in the residential localities.
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred under Rule 8 of Noise Pollution (Regulation
& Control) Rules 2000, I, M. Mahendar Reddy, IPS., Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City, do hereby
make this written order and notify the same to the General Public Prohibiting the following within
Hyderabad City, except in cases specifically permitted by the Divisional Asst. Commissioners of Police of
the concerned jurisdiction:

Use of High Volume Sound Systems including DJs (High Volume Sound Mixers) emanating
sound levels beyond permissible limits in places of Public Gatherings including Processions in
the Residential Localities.

Prohibit bursting of fire crackers at public places / public roads, public meetings and marriage
function halls causing inconvenience to the residents of locality and public in general.
This order shall come into force from 06:00 hrs on 23-03-2017 and shall remain in force for a
period of 15 days i.e., upto 06:00 hrs on 06-04-2017, both days inclusive unless withdrawn earlier.
Any person violating this order shall be liable for punishment u/s 67(c), 188 of IPC and u/s 76 of
the Hyderabad City Police Act, 1348 Fasli.

NOTIFICATION
WHEREAS, reports have been received indicating that consumption of liquor in public places
has become rampant and unhindered in several areas of the City of Hyderabad, resulting in to a menace
to the common members of the public, especially women and children in particular.
AND WHEREAS, such reports have been indicating that, persons consuming liquor in public
places have been exhibiting abrasive unruly and indecent behavior on the streets of Hyderabad City
towards law abiding citizens especially women and children in particular endangering their modesty and
safety in addition to causing disturbance to public tranquility resulting in annoyance and obstruction to
road users in general and women and children in particular.
WHEREAS, such unruly and indecent behavior has been instilling a sense of fear psychosis in law
abiding citizens, especially women and children resulting in restriction of their free movement on the
streets of Hyderabad, thereby affecting public safety at large and safety and security of women and
children in particular.
AND WHEREAS, it is considered necessary to take speedy measures in this regard to prevent
danger to human life and safety and security of women and children or for preventing any affray and
disturbance of public tranquility.
Now, therefore, in excise of the powers conferred upon me under Section 144 of Criminal
Procedure Code 1973, I, M. Mahendar Reddy, IPS, Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City, do herby
make this written order and notify the same to the General Public prohibiting Consumption of liquor
in public places in the City of Hyderabad.
This order is published for the information of public through the media and through the public
address system in the areas affected with drunkenness in public places.
This order shall come into force from 0600 hours on 22-03-2017 and shall remain in force for a
period of one week i.e. upto 0600 hours on
28-03-2017 (both days inclusive) unless withdrawn
earlier.
Any person violating this order shall be liable for punishment under Section 188 of the Indian
Penal code and as per the provisions of Hyderabad City Police Act, 1348 Fasli.

NOTIFICATION
With a view to maintain public order, peace and tranquility in the twin cities of
Hyderabad and Secunderabad, I, M. Mahendar Reddy, IPS Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad City, in
exercise of the powers vested in me under section 22(1) (a) to (f) and 22 (2) (a) and (b) of Hyderabad
City Police Act, 1348 Fasli (No.IX), do hereby issue the following prohibitory orders.

Prohibit to hold any kind of public meetings, and processions within the Hyderabad City,
without obtaining prior permission of Zonal Dy. Commissioners of Police, Law and Order
concerned, Addl. Commissioner of Police, Law and Order or Jt. Commissioner of Police, Coordination & Security or Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad.
a) Prohibit carrying of arms such as swords, spears, knives, sticks with or without flags
bludgeons, guns, explosives, and other offensive weapons in the above mentioned areas.
b) Prohibit gathering of persons on the public roads or public places disturbing peace and
order or causing inconvenience, annoyance or danger to public.

its surroundings, Telangana / A.P. Legislative Assembly premises and surrounding roads, Public
Garden Nampally, Upper Tankbund, I–MAX, Rotary and NTR Marg roads also fly-over road
leading from Secretariat to Visweswarayya statue, Khairatabad.

“Counting of Votes” for the Biennial Elections to the Telangana Legislative Council in
respect of Teacher’s Constituencies in the twin Cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad on 22-03-2017 at
GHMC Indoor Stadium, Amberpet Playground, Amberpet, Hyderabad in the limits of East Zone.
After reviewing the situation carefully and with a view of maintain public order, peace
and tranquility in the twin cites of Hyderabad and Secunderabad,
I, M. Mahendar Reddy, IPS
Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad in exercise of the powers conferred on me Under Section 22 (1) (d)
to (f) and 22 (2) (a) and 22 (3) of Hyderabad City Police, Act do hereby issued the following prohibitory
orders:1.
Prohibit Assembly of 5 or more persons and any kind of processions or victory rally
2.
Prohibit carrying of sticks either with or without flags, lathies, fire arms, or any other weapons
which can be used as weapons for offence or defense by persons in processions, big gathering
or meetings within a radius of one K.M. from the Counting Center
3.
Prohibit erection of temporary structures like Shamianas, Pandals, Khannath etc., on
thoroughfares, public places and all other places where public may throng
4.
Prohibit use of mikes/public address system by anybody or parties
5.
Prohibit music, singing or speeches or broadcasting through speakers or any other instruments
6.
Prohibit collection, carrying of stones and other means of casting missiles
7.
Prohibit making a speech, gesture or mimetic representation, exhibition or dissemination of
pictures, symbols, placards or any other thing which is likely to create religious animosity or
hatred between different communities or individuals or is likely to bring about commission of
an offence of disturbance to or contempt of the law or of a lawful authority

On 19-03-2017 at about 1900 hours, the Santoshnagar Police of South Zone apprehended three
persons at Rakshapuram near Owaisi School of Excellence with banned old currency notes
denomination Rs 500/-and 1000/-.and other ten persons were not available, they belongs to Hyderabad
and planned to exchange the banned old currency notes on 40% to 60% commission basis with one
Ashok Kumar of Chilkanagar Uppal.
During the area patrolling by Santoshnagar Police in the limits of Rakshapuram area found
some persons gathered on the road near Owaisi School of Excellence at Rakshapuram with their cars 1)
Maruthi Suzuki Ertiga bearing No: TS 11EA3698, and 2) Hundai- i10 car bearing No: AP 09 BY 2192. On
scrutiny of the vehicles noticed the following persons possession unaccounted of old currency notes of
Rs. 500/- & 1000/- denomination of total Rs. 1,35,80,000/- (one core thirty five lacks and eighty
thousand rupees only). Total Rs. 1000/- denomination notes are (4,630 X 1000= 46,30,000/- ) and 500
denomination notes are (17,900 X 500= 89,50,000/-) were seized. All the amount collected by the 3
persons from the below known 9 persons to get them exchange with Ashok kumar (Exchange broker).
Two teams were formed to apprehend the Ashok kumar.

During the course of enquiry they stated that the old currency belongs to them and their
friends, they came to Rakshapuram area as his known person Ashok, Film producer r/o Chilnanagar
Uppal/Filmnagar called them with intention to exchange with new currency on the commission basis of
40 % and 60 % basis.
The aforesaid persons along with the Rs 1,35,80,000/-(one core thirty five lacks and eighty
thousand rupees only) seized unaccounted old currency notes of Rs. 500/- and 1000/- denomination
along with seizure report would be produced to the income tax department for initiating the
appropriate action against them as per income tax act.
