Literacy:
This week we will continue to make our writing
easy to read by adding more letters in our
words, using clear finger spaces, and using
more punctuation.
We will also work with the alphabet to focus
on the difference between uppercase and
lowercase letters/ A handful of lowercase
letters will also be our focus for handwriting
this week.
Math:
More problem solving! We will be working
with addition and subtraction number stories,
problems with missing numbers, and using a
“rule” to create number patterns (i.e. add 2
is the rule).
Music!
I’ll be sending home the last sound file this
week via email that Ms. Caulton has asked
for your help with extra practice for!
Sheet music/lyrics will also be coming home in
your students Daily Folder.
Also!
Before our concert on June 4th – we will
have a small concert assembly for some
special guests at school. We will be
performing on Monday, June 2nd at 2:40 –
which means your student will have to come
back to school that afternoon if interested!

Reminders!
Last week you got a designated
alphabet letter in your child’s Daily
Folder. Please complete that assignment
and return it by this Friday, May 16th
Bead Donations 
Room 166 is happily accepting bead
donations to help fill our math/art
center! They will be used and reused for
various activities.
Dress Code at Creekside is no flip
flops, or sandals with wedges, and 3
fingers-wide for shirt straps.
