THFC V Man Utd
On Sunday 20 / 01 / 2013 , THFC played Manchester Utd in the Premiership at the THFC White Hart Lane
stadium , kick off 1600 hours . Cat B fixture .
Again , due to the poor behaviour that has followed Man Utd supporters at away fixtures this season their
allocation was once more restricted to 1 , 900 .
With snow pouring down and se ttling all over the Tottenham area it was 50 / 50 whether this game would go
ahead . After much debate it was given the go ahead about an hour before kick off .
Some ticket touts from the Manchester area that had travelled down for this fi xture were seen , but were in
smaller numbers then seen in previous season s

With kick off approaching many Man Utd supporters were still queuing to get into the stadium after a
combination of a late walk up and a robust searching policy by the THFC stewards . As we approached 4pm
sections of the Man U queue , (which didn 't seem to be getting much smaller) became agitated at not getting
in and began pushing which caused the front of the queue to spill into the sterile area set up just before the
tu rn stiles . A police serial and mounted officers had to intervene to restore order . The supporters calmed
down and all got into the stadium safely without any further problems .
No real incidents during the match (again no beer sold to the away supporters du ri ng the half time pe ri od) .
Post match with Tottenham scoring an equalizing goal with almost the last kick of the game the mood of the
two sets of supporters obviously changed completely , Tottenham fans came out of the stadium ve ry happy
and ve ry boisterous singing about ` Fergie time ' which was directed at the Man U fans exiting the stadium .
One or two supporters from either side began to square up to one another and had to be separated and
moved on before any form of disorder occurred . The coaches were a little late in leaving due to fans losing
their way! !
No other incidents known .
