Experience the Verso. It’s the ideal family vehicle, combining
impeccable styling and indulgent luxury with smart
practicality. Solid performance is balanced by advanced
safety features. All models utilise Toyota Optimal Drive
technology to deliver more performance with lower fuel
consumption and fewer emissions. The Verso range
has four petrol models: a 1.6 S, 1.6 SX, 1.8 TX and
1.8 TX CVT to choose from plus a 2.0 D-4D TX diesel
model. The 1.8 TX CVT drives like an automatic which
results in a significantly quieter drive. It also has the option
of manually changing gears using the gear shift paddles
mounted behind the steering wheel. The Verso says as
much about your vision for the future as it does about your
passion for living in the moment.

The Verso tackles the job of being an MPV (multipurpose vehicle) with a sleek, energetic style that
looks just as good going to the game as going to the
office – a true multi-tasker, just like you.
All Verso models feature a front and rear spoiler that,
although understated, enhances the aerodynamic
characteristics of the car when in motion. Colour-coded
exterior finishes add to its sophisticated look, while a
long wheelbase within its compact body, front and
rear fog lamps and 16" alloy wheels* add to the Verso
models' sporty edge. The Verso also comes equipped
with a reverse camera* to help you better manoeuvre
in tight spots. The TX models have roof rails and HID
headlamps** with daytime running lights.
Family time means “car time” – getting to those places and
moments that make for great memories. So the Verso is
engineered and refined to make every moment spent on
the road more comfortable and relaxing. The seats have
been designed to offer thicker cushioning and seat back
shoulder length.
The Verso makes “car time” ultra-comfy and
enjoyable with:
– Conversation mirror* for easy chatting with rear seat passengers (and keeping an eye on the kids).
– Cruise control* to make long distance driving
less demanding.
– Air conditioner and automatic air conditioner**

and a centre armrest.

– For added security and convenience, the TX
models also feature Smart Entry** and Push Start
System**,while speed auto door lock and double
locking on all models keep everyone securely in
the vehicle.

Aviation tables*
(behind driver and front passenger seats)
From sports equipment to school bags to groceries to
luggage, it can be hard to travel light when you’re travelling
together. Happily, your Verso has room to spare. The
Easy Flat-7 system means just that – it’s easy to fold the
seats down flat to create a long, completely flat load area.
The seats fold down easily without having to remove the
head rests.
There’s even an under-floor storage system which is perfect
for putting bulky items in their place without taking up any
legroom. For smaller bits and pieces, all front and rear doors
have pockets, as do both front seats. The Verso also keeps
valuables out of sight with a retractable tonneau cover that
can be used when the two seats in the third row are folded
flat. Storage is not a problem in this vehicle since the 2nd
row seats have sliding, reclining, and tilt down functions to
enhance comfort and increase loading space. The 3rd row of
seats can also be folded down to create more loading space.

In the Verso, safety is taken to a new level. Verso models
have world class active and passive safety features and are
designed to protect you and your loved ones, while design
and engineering refinements offer improved visibility and
enhanced handling to minimise risk when in motion.
The Verso is the embodiment of Toyota’s commitment
to the Toyota Optimal Drive principle of maximum
performance through maximum energy efficiency, with
minimal waste. Valvematic valve timing control on the
1.6 and 1.8 VVT-i petrol engines and precision Piezo
injectors on the 2.0 diesel engine boost fuel efficiency
and driving performance while reducing emissions, for
a cleaner planet.
Airbags
Seven airbags* are positioned around the cabin to protect
the driver and passengers in the event of an impact.
These include intelligent dual stage front airbags which
adjust deployment according to varying conditions. On
the passenger side, there’s a manual override switch for
child safety. There are also driver and front passenger side
airbags and a driver knee airbag, in addition to curtain
shield airbags* that extend to the third row of seats. These
reduce stress on the head and torso during a strong side
impact. An additional safety feature is an automatic fuel
cut-off activated by the airbag sensors to reduce fire risk.
If you’re concerned about environmental impact, Verso
is the ideal choice to safeguard the planet for generations
to come. There are recycle marks on recyclable
materials within the vehicle to better understand how
much of the vehicle is really recyclable. The Verso has
also adopted PVC-free (Poly-Vinyl Chloride) material in
the manufacturing of the vehicle. Worldwide, Toyota
actively seeks ways to meet society’s growing transport
needs in ways that are environmentally sustainable.
Our Environmental Action Plan, known as ECO-Project,
embraces all aspects of Toyota’s operations. From
designing new vehicles through to our manufacturing
processes, choice of materials and end-of-life recycling
programmes, our goal is zero emissions. Designed with
a cleaner world in mind, the Verso is Euro 4 emissions
compliant and uses less Volatile Organic Compounds
during production. The 1.8 TX CVT also has an exhaust
system that assists with on board diagnostics, earning it
an impressive Euro 5 emissions rating. No matter what
colour you choose, the Verso is “greener” than most

For the littlest passengers, ISO-FIX rear seat anchors
with top tethers keep baby seats securely in place.
Further protection comes in the form of 3-point safety belts
for all occupants, front seat belt pre-tensioners with force
limiters and seven headrests.
Enhanced control
Retaining control is the essence of driving safety. All Verso
models have an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), enhanced
with Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) and Brake
Assist System (BAS) for better control. Vehicle Stability
Control (VSC) can be activated at the driver’s discretion,
in order to minimise understeer or oversteer (i.e. slipping
at the front or rear) while cornering by applying differential
braking force to individual wheels. Traction Control (TRC)*
prevents wheel spin when starting or accelerating on
slippery or loose surfaces. Hill-start Assist Control (HAC)*
prevents rolling back when engaging gear on an uphill.

All Verso models are covered by a Toyota Warranty for a period of 3 years or a maximum of 100 000 km

a 3-year Corrosion Perforation Warranty and a 12-month warranty on the vehicle’s battery. The standard
Toyota Warranty can be extended through the purchase of a Toyota Genuine Extended Warranty up to
a maximum of 6 years or 220 000 km.
The Toyota Genuine Extended Warranty offers the same level of cover as the standard Toyota Warranty
(except for paint and trim), is not subject to any claim limits and is the only warranty extension product

Toyota Genuine Extended Service Plan
All Verso models feature a standard Toyota Service Plan for 5 years or maximum 90 000 km and provides
for all scheduled service parts (filters and spark plugs), consumables (engine oil, brake fluid and engine
coolant) as well as the associated labour costs.
The standard Toyota Service Plan can be extended up to a maximum of 7 years or 195 000 km through
the purchase of a Toyota Genuine Extended Service Plan. By extending your vehicle’s service plan, you’re
