Ethernet Services
Experience Matters
When you are making a decision that affects your business future, experience matters. Cincinnati Bell has
been in the telecommunications business for over 135 years. We got here by listening to our customers and
helping them find ways to help them grow their businesses. By providing a variety of business-focused
products and services we can help your business meet the challenges of a global marketplace regardless of
your size.
One of the ways we help businesses grow is by providing reliable, scaleable transport for your mission
critical data. Whether it be across town or across the nation, Cincinnati Bell’s Ethernet Services are the
answer.
Cincinnati Bell first offered its metro Ethernet services in 1994 and since that time has continued to invest in
its network infrastructure and is able to offer services throughout the Midwest on its own dedicated network.
This network extends to Chicago, Indianapolis, Louisville, Columbus and Dayton from its Cincinnati
headquarters.
The Strength of our Network Backbone
In a word, Cincinnati Bell’s network is “reliable!” Our network architecture is designed with route and
hardware diversity focused on providing maximum up-time. We’ve equipped our network with dual, diverse
platforms featuring Cisco NGN and Alcatel-Lucent hardware. We have over 3,300 miles of fiber today and
our investment continues. Cincinnati Bell’s Ethernet network is also Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF) and
Cisco-certified as proof or our commitment to our customers.

regional events.
