SA-Cement 0.9 Data Sheet

SA-Cement 0.9
Lightweight Screed Compound
Product description
SA-Cement 0.9 is a latex based concrete, especially formulated lightweight cement/latex for producing a rapid setting and
drying floor screed.
SA-Cement 0.9 is for levelling and filling of ship deck, steel, concrete, etc. applied as bonded, unbonded or floating floor.
Surface preparation
Mix 8,75 litres of Bonding Agent with 17 kg of SA-Cement 0.9 to produce a bonding slurry of creamy consistency, before
applying SA-Cement 0.9 wet in wet.
Primer
See surface preparation.
Mixing
Mix 17 kg of SA-Cement 0.9 with 8,75 litres of bonding agent, then add 18 kg of Light Filler, this produces a workable screed
mortar.
Application
SA-Cement 0.9 must be applied directly on the bonding slurry (primer) - wet in wet. Where a new screed is laid against a set
and hardened screed it is treated with bonding slurry as described above. After application of SA-Cement 0.9 the compound
must be protected against strong, direct heat and sunlight and draught must be avoided. SA-Cement 0.9 should not be exposed to freezing temperatures (Recommended curing temperatur is min. 5°C).
Curing / dehydration
At +20°C and 65 % relative humidity the compound will be walk-able after approx. 6 hours, curing times depend on the thickness of the applied layer, relative humidity and ventilation at the working area. Ready for covering with e.g. tiles after approx.
24-48 hours. The compound must be fully dry before covering (the moisture has to be < 5 % by weight).
