Dear Parents,
Thank you for your generosity in supplying the food for the Thanksgiving Boxes. We’re
confident that we're helping to make Thanksgiving for the families of Catholic Charities a very happy
one.
We have been assigned the same families to provide gifts for Christmas. Below is a list with
information that should help you with your gift purchase. Next to each family member, there is a
“gift suggestion.” For some, there is only one item listed and for others there are multiple items. We
are asking that at least one gift be provided for each family member. However, we encourage you to
provide more if you are able. We’d like for each family member to receive the same number of gifts.
Students are encouraged to discuss plans of gift purchase with their “classmates” to be sure that gifts
are not duplicated. Remember that your gifts may be the only gifts they will receive. These families
have been identified by Catholic Charities as very needy.
Listed below is the “wish list” information for the children. Underneath the wish list, you
will see “gift assignment” and a St. Theresa student who is assigned to that family member. As
parents, you may want to speak with one another so that gifts are not duplicated. Students should
bring their wrapped gift to school with the name and family number of their family member on the
gift tag and place it into their “family” box. If you are unable to donate a gift for whatever reason,
please let me know so that we can make other arrangements. All gifts are due no later than Fri., Dec.
11, 2015.
We know this is a busy time for all of us and would like to thank you in advance for your
generosity and aiding the students’ in our service project for the needy families. This will be greatly
appreciated by the families.
