By the end of this half term I will: Be able to discuss home life, including what my house and bedroom look like. Be able to apply the present and future tense in my written work. Be able to speak about different activities I do in my bedroom, i.e. listen to music. Week 1 Classwork I will: 


Learn the Present tense in Spanish using –ar, ‐er, and –ir verbs. Identify different careers and learn to discuss these in Spanish. Apply my knowledge of how to make an opinion and say whether I like / dislike something. Week 2 Classwork I will: 


Learn the future tense in Spanish using –ar, ‐er, and –ir verbs. Identify different careers and learn to discuss these in Spanish. Apply my knowledge of Voy + a + infinitive to complete a writing piece in the future tense. Week 3 Classwork I will: 


Recap previous learning from HT1 and HT2. Plan and write an extended piece describing my home life, including daily routines, jobs and future plans. Apply my knowledge of present and future tenses in my written work. Learn the forms of the verb ‘vivir’ (to live) and applying the verb ‘estar’ (to be) for locations and giving directions. Learn to recognize –er to –ar verbs. Talk about rooms in my home and describe where I live. Week 5 Tests I will: 
Learn to describe my home and my bedroom. Learn to use prepositions in Spanish to describe my home and my bedroom. Apply my knowledge of –ar and –er verbs. Learn what stem changing verbs are and how to use these in my work. Talk about activities I do in my bedroom, e.g. study, listen to music etc. Resources 
