Dear Quilt Owner:
Thank you for joining us in the Quilt Show sponsored by the Knox County Quilt Guild (KCQG).
You may submit contemporary, traditional or antique quilts, wall hangings, quilted clothing and
quilted miscellaneous items for display that have not been previously displayed in the Knox
County Show. All items for display should be clean and free of animal hair. It is not necessary
that you be the creator of submitted items. The KCQG reserves the right to accept or reject quilts
for display.
This is a non-juried show, put on for the pleasure of displaying the beautiful quilts in Knox
County for its citizens and visitors. Recognition awards are based on viewer’s choices.
Every effort is made to display your quilted items to their best advantage. Please measure and
record quilt sizes on the entry form. This is very important for planning purposes. With our
new hanging system, there is no sleeve required.
During show hours, KCQG members will be present to monitor the displays and visitors. Signs
will be posted requesting viewers to respect the quilts and refrain from touching them. An
independent security officer will provide security during the hours the show is closed. Please be
sure that your entries are covered under your homeowner’s insurance.
All entries must be delivered to the Y.M.C.A. Sports Center, 200 W. Chestnut St., between
7:30 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. on Friday, August 12. Entries may not be picked up earlier than 5:00
p.m. but must be picked up by 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 14. YOUR RECEIPT IS
REQUIRED FOR PICKUP. If you are unable to pick up your quilt, you must make
arrangements with the show Chairperson prior to the show.
The KCQG 2016 Opportunity Raffle Quilt will be on display during the show. The drawing will
be held on Sunday, August 14 at 4:00 p.m. Tickets can be purchased in advanced from KCQG
members.

Quilts must be dropped off at the YMCA Sports center between 7:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. on Friday,
August 12, 2016. They may be picked up on Sunday, August 14, 2016, after 5 p.m. Entry receipts are required
for pickup (NO EXCEPTIONS).
I accept full responsibility for the items displayed and I hold the Knox County Quilt Guild, its members and the
Y.M.C.A. harmless for any loss or damage that might occur. I understand I need my receipt to reclaim my
entries.
