Dear Parents/Guardians,
Union Arts and Science Charter School (Union ASCS), an iLearn Schools network school (www.ilearnschools.org), is a new,
New Jersey state-approved, tuition-free public charter school that is located in the City of Linden. Union ASCS will open
in September of 2017, serving 240 students. Students will enter kindergarten through grade two in the first year, with
one additional grade added in each of the following years, until the school serves students in kindergarten through grade
five. The school will be located at the former St. Theresa School, 705 Clinton St, Linden, NJ, 07036.
WHO CAN APPLY?
Union ASCS is a tuition-free and open-enrollment public charter school. As such, Union ASCS welcomes all students who
meet the state-established public school age and health requirements. Students from all New Jersey districts who will
attend grades K through two in the 2017-2018 academic year may apply for enrollment; however, Union ASCS will grant
primary acceptance to students living within the Linden and Elizabeth school districts of residence.
