Pronunciation - Final Consonant
(Pronunciación - consonante final)
CC
In Spanish, the majority of the words end in vowels. But in English, the majority of the
words end in consonants. For this reason, Spanish speakers frequently omit the
consonant sound at the end of the word. If you do not pronounce the last consonant in
every word, the listener will have trouble understanding you. (En español, la mayoría de
las palabras terminan en vocales. Pero en Inglés, la mayoría de las palabras terminan en
consonantes. Por esta razón, los hispanohablantes frecuencia omiten el sonido de la
consonante al final de la palabra. Si no pronuncia la última consonante en cada palabra,
el oyente tendrá problemas para entender usted.)

1. stayed
