CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
ACTIVE OLDER ADULT (AOA) CARDIO: Enjoy fun, low-impact exercise as you move through a variety of exercises designed
for active older adults. Increase your muscular strength and range of motion as well as your cardiovascular fitness, which will
help you with activities of daily living.
SHALLOW WATER EXERCISE: This water workout consists of cardio, resistance training, and core work in shallow water.
SILVERSNEAKERS®: This class allows you to sit and be fit! Meant for our mature members who want to maintain range of
motion and strength in their older years. This class is perfect for our members who require wheelchairs and/or walkers.
SILVERSNEAKERS® YOGA: In this class you will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga
poses. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.
TAI CHI: Tai Chi is an ancient form of Chinese exercise consisting of slow, beautiful, relaxed movements that develop a sense
of balance and harmony between mind and body.
ZUMBA® GOLD: This class is perfect for beginners and active older adults looking for a modified Zumba® experience similar
to the original but at a lower intensity.
